Basic Spanish (FSI)
You'll

You learll from this course by listening and repeating, and repeating again-a process very similar to the way you learned to speak English. The voices you hear on the audio cassettes are native-born speakers who provide a gtuded program of learning with pauses to allow you to respond. The cassette player is your "tire-less teacher": it will reseat the same phrase time after time with no change in inflection until you are satisfied that you have mastered the expression. With this course you can learn Spanish in as little as 25 minutes a day.
After going through a lesson the first time with the printed material, you can set the books aside and use the cassettes only So you'll find yourself learning on literally found time-while driving, cooking, jog-ging, or almost any time. While the standard Spanish taught in this course is that of a well-educ ated native of Latin America, the pronunciation is "neutral," in that it is not specifically derived from any one country.
