This introductory, full-length course in Scots Gaelic was developed in Glasgow by John M. Paterson and first published by the Gaelic League of Scotland. Communication in Gaelic is made easier than usual via the method of this course. Forty-three lesson units are divided among four brief booklets, each accompanied by an audio cassette (1 hr. each). An interesting section of "do's and don'ts" of grammatical usage with examples begins each lesson, which includes vocabulary and readings in Gaelic. English translations are given at the end of each lesson unit.
