Developed at the Georgetown University School of Language and Linguistics, this course teaches the Arabic of the educated urban population of northwestern Morocco, which includes the cities of Fez, Rabat, and Casablanca. Moroccan Arabic serves as a practical tool for the increasing number of Americans coming into contact with this area of the Arab world.
The text uses Roman alphabet transcriptions of Arabic words and phrases, and includes a glossary and an index of all grammatical points covered in the lessons.
