Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio

Twenty stories of the uncanny and super-natural selected from the series of 431 stories written originally in classical language by P'u Song-ling (1640-1715) have been r ewritten by Linda Hsia and Roger Yeu in easily understandable, simple Chinese for an intermediate-level reader of modern Chinese.

This reader may be used after 600 Chinese characters have been mastered or Read Chinese, Voluunes I and 11 completed, or some similar text. Pronunciation is given in both pinyin and Yale romanization. The characters are printed in full (traditional) and simplified forms. 3 cassettes (3 hr.) and 174-p. book.
