This series of recordings of authentic news, music, and cultural broadcasts (1979-1981) from the People's Republic of China is designed for advanced learners to improve listening comprehension as well as reading ability. The accompanying texts provide a complete transcription of the recorded material in both traditional and simplified characters. Vocabulary lists are in pinyin.
