For the advanced foreign-born learner, this program provides a proven method for perfecting the pronunciation of American English. Accent English has been carefully tailored to meet the needs of native speakers of the 12 languages listed below.

The prograun targets the English sounds a native speaker of another language may have difficulty in voicing. The program does not cover all sounds but a selection of the most troublesome. It teaches appropriate lip and mouth positions, stress, pause and intonation patterns.

Each program consists of four 90-min. cassettes, a 144-p. book, 42 visualaid cards, and a mirror. Also included is an introductory cassette with helpful pre- and post- test.
