The Living Voice of Greek and Latin

The aim of this series, under the editorship of Stephen G. Daitz, Professor of Classical Languages, The City College of New York, is to make available to teachers and students of the Classics cassette recordings in the restored historical pronunciation of the original language of some of the most important works of Greek and Latin literature. These works are presented in a complete recording where practicable, or in selections, and are read in accordance with the latest linguistic evidence.

A Recital of Ancient Greek Poetry: 4 cassettes, 52-p. script(Includes selections from Homer, Sappho, Pindar, Euripides, Aristophanes). Each selection is read first in English translation and then in Greek.
