It means that with the SunmiPage Chinese OCR engine, your software can read almost 95% standard Chinese texts printed in newspapers, books, magazines and etc.

High recognition accuracy on both Chinese and English text

The SunmiPage Chinese OCR engine can read both the Chinese/English texts printed in middle or above print quality in the average recognition accuracy of 97% or above. The recognition speed is also relatively high.

  1. The high level implementation method enables you to implement the OCR engine as easy as possible, you need not be concern about any image processing work as it handles everything including image scanning, image reading, image writing, image block autocliping, text line segmentation, text line recognition, Chinese/English font learning, font file selection, font file maintaining, image viewing and even image editing. By calling only three functions(Open DLL, Create OCR/IMAGING Tool Window and Close DLL) your software gets the Chinese/English bilingual OCR and many useful image processing features.
  2. The low level implementation method enables you to implement the OCR engine as easy as possible, it lets you fully control everything including internal image structure, user interface, font file selection and learning, font file maintaining, image reading writing method, image viewing and editing, image pre-processing, all in your own way except our core OCR function. This implementation method also requires only three functions (Open DLL, Block Image Recognition, Close DLL), The implementation of the low level function is also very easy, you just have to pass the image pointer and some other parameters to OCR engine, and OCR engine gives you back the recognized text pointer.
