China is the acknowledged poem capitol of the world and poems from the Tang dynasty is probably the most widely acclaimed through out the long Chinese history.
This CD was designed to illuminate this aspect of the Chinese culture. The contents of this disk are based on a famous Ching Dynasty poet's "A Collection of 300 Poems from the Tang Dynasty". Each poem is accompanied by a beautifully illustrated Chinese painting as the background. A text and voice annotated synopsis explaining the background of each poem as well as a detailed description of the poem are also provided. It is absolutely the most fun, easiest, and entertaining way to learn about Chinese poems. It is also an invaluable introductory tool for children to learn about this fabulous aspect of the Chinese culture.
