To run FineReader 3.0 Professional Trial Version you need the following:
To acqiure images the TWAIN-compliant scanning device is also needed. If you have no scanning device currently, you can use FineReader to recognize the contents of the existing TIFF images (e.g. received by fax).
Downloading Instructions:
To simplify downloading, the setup files are separated into parts. Main part contains only modules that support English recognition.

After downloading, copy the file into empty folder and run it to unpack. Then run INSTALL.EXE to install the product on your computer.
Below are the add-ons that will enable the recognition of German, French and Russian texts. After downloading each file, please, copy the file into the folder where FineReader was installed. Then run it either from DOS promt or directly from Explorer. After all the files are decompressed you can delete the original compressed file. Thats all - run FineReader and it will be able to recognize texts in the language you added.
To deinstall the product, run "Add/Remove Programs" applet from Control Panel, select "FineReader 3.0" from the list and press Add/Remove button.
