This CD-ROM title is the first Arabic multimedia encyclopedia in the world. It is based on the famous Al-Mawred encyclopedia by Dr. Mounir Baalbaki. It contains more than 15,000 subjects and most of them have bilingual names in both English and Arabic.
The CD contains video clips, sound clips, pictures and illustrations about many of the subjects. Each subject is categorized in both English and Arabic. A list of video clips, pictures and sounds is also available for direct access. Users can search for subjects in both Arabic and English. Information content is in Arabic.
Hardware Requirements:
Macintosh: 4MB RAM, CD-RAM drive, System 7 or higher and 256 color monitor.
Windows: IBM and 100%compatible 386SX or higher, SVGA(640 x 480, 256 colors), 4MB of RAM, CD-ROM driver, Windows 3.1, Sound Blaster and compatibles.
