Hanme Hangul for Windows 2.5 adds Korean(Hangul) and SinoKorean(Hanja) capabilities to Windows 3.1 and most Windows applications without the need for special cards, hardware, or a dedicated Korean operating system. Hanme Hangul for Windows(HHW) comes with six professionally designed, hinted truetype fonts* that produce high quality output on Windows supported printers at all resolutions, including high resolutions typesetting systems. Twentyfour additional fonts are also available.

Hanme Hangul for Windows can be loaded at any time during a Windows session. Roman fonts can be automatically paired to a Korean font. Support also exists for the input of Russian, Japanese, and special characters through a popup menu. Placement of Korean is automatic. Character blocks are constructed as keys are pressed, removing the need for different key combinations for initial and final(upper and lower) positions. Korean and Roman character input methods are selected through a <left shift>cspace> combination. Korean to SinoKorean is automatic in most cases, through a <right shift><space> key combination and access to a SinoKorean character dictionary of over 65,000 words.

Hanme Hangul supports KSC56011987(Wonsung), the most commonly used Korean code format. It works in most all Windows applications that allow onscreen display and printing of truetype fonts, including communications applications.
