CONTEXT is a computerized dictionary which provides on-line translation of English words and phrases to Russian (and vice versa), as well as definitions of dictionary entries and Russian synonyms. CONTEXT lets the user select from a variety of (included!) specialized dictionaries including its General Dictionary, Dictionary of Business Terms, Dictionary of Computer Terms and Dictionary of Russian Synonyms. It allows for look-up of words in one, several or all of the installed dictionaries. When a Russian word, phrase or idiom is keyed in, CONTEXT produces its English translation(s). Similarly, when an English word, phrase or idiom is input, it generates its Russian equivalent. Finally, it inserts the chosen translation (or a synonym) into the desired location in the translated text. Context's unique "knowledge" of English and Russian morphology allows it to recognize and translate words from these languages irrespective of the grammatical forms in which they are used in a text.
