52 Adobe Postscript and True Type Fonts and Conversion
utilities
MAKOfont 2.0 is a first-class comprehensive package which allows you
to use Polish characters in all applications running under Windows 3.1,
3.11, Windows NT and Windows95. In all versions of Windows True Type fonts
support codepage 1250 (Latin-II) and Mazovia (standard used in Poland)
and give you a facility to use Polish characters with popular wordprocessors
as well as with Ventura publisher and more.
Postscript fonts included in the package provide Polish characters support
in AutoDesk products, such as AutoCad LT for Windows, AutoCad, 3D studio
and AutoDesk Animator Pro. (Please note these are not available in Zecer).
MAKO supports the following standards of storing Polish characters:
- IBM Latin-2 (The most popular standard used by English versions of
Windows)
- Codepage 1250 (compatible with all Windows versions)
- Mazovia (Designed and used in Poland)
- DHN (Used in Poland)
- Ventura 4 (system used by Ventura, similar to Mazovia)
- User defined. (You can customise the package to any standard you want)
Package contains :
- User-friendly installation program
- 52 TrueType and 52 Adobe PostScript (Type 1) fonts
Before you assess the quality of the image above please make
sure that it is loaded completely!
- MAKKEY Keyboard driver which allows you to enter Polish characters
by pressing
ALT with the most similar latin character (Polish programmers keyboard
standard)
- MAKKAEYSET Allows the user to define keyboard layouts, should you not
like the
default one.
- MAKCONV Allows to convert files with Polish (or any other) characters
between many different standards of storing them. (Eg. Mazovia, DHN, Latin-II
and more)
- OEM2ANSI Allows to define OEM2ANSI and ANSI2OEM conversion tables.
That means you can convert files with Polish characters stored in any standard
(eg. popular in Poland Mazovia) to any other standard (eg. Latin-II).
- TRUE TYPE MANAGER When the number of fonts installed on your machine
becomes too large to handle it begins to slow down your system this little
utility program becomes very handy. It allows you to manage large numbers
of fonts, classify them into groups with similar characteristics, install
and de-install them from system to free up more resources.
