System TL is simply a Windows program (engine) which in combination with any dictionary for system TL (data only) allows you to view a dictionary on screen, scroll it and search for words.

In each dictionary supported by System TL you can search for a specific word or browse through the whole list. Polish characters are supported in all popular standards and it is not necessary to have any third party Polish fonts to use this dictionary.

The advantage of buying system TL separately from the dictionary is such that if you buy 2 or more dictionaries for system TL you only have to buy one copy of system TL. Many western software manufacturers would probably bundle system TL with each dictionary it supports so that if you buy more than 1 dictionary you would have to (unnecessarily) buy multiple copies of the engine software.
