Chopin's places:
With Multimedia Chopin you will visit a dozen
or so of European cities where the composer stayed (Zelazowa Wola, Warsaw,
Vienna, Berlin, Paris, London and many more). You will discover beautiful
places that were his inspiration and meet the people who he met, loved
and admired - people for whom he created his works.
Ask the professor:
If you do not know exactly what a word "etude"
means or would like to know more about "tempo rubato" you can
ask the Professor! Profesor Anatole Leikin, who teaches at the University
of California will clarify these and other musical terms to you.
The Multimedia Chopin can be used as a lexicon of knowledge about the composer
on your computer as well as listen to it in a regular CD player, as it
is also an audio CD with 8 complete, beautifully performed compositions.
As an added bonus the CD-ROM comes with Macromedia Quick Time. (You need
QuickTime to run Chopin, but you may also use it to run other multimedia
programs)
The user interface and manual are in both English and Polish, so you choose
the language you feel more comfortable with.
