Macintosh version of The Kojien Dictionary, the premier reference tool in Japan, equal in scholarly reputation to the Oxford English Dictionary has been released. The 4th edition of the Kojien was published in 1994 with 220,000 entry words, 2,500 graphics and 84 bird sounds. The dictionary is very comprehensive and lends itself naturally to a CD-ROM version.
