QuarkXPress Passport(TM) is a powerful multilingual electronic publishing package. It has "all the capabilities of QuarkXPress", with added features for multiple-language documents.

QuarkXPress Passport 3.3 is available on CD-ROM for Macintosh, Power Macintosh (Smart Install version), and Windows. You can install QuarkXPress Passport on any of these international operating system except two-byte systems.

What are QuarkXPress Passport Supplements?

The QuarkXPress Passport package contains U.S. English, International English, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, and Swiss-German. Quark(TM) has released Macintosh and Power Macintosh supplements in four additional languages:

• One supplement (on CD-ROM) provides Norwegian hyphenation, program language support, and spell checking, as well as Greek and Portuguese hyphenation and program language support.

Does QuarkXPress Passport translate text from one language to another?

QuarkXPress Passport is not a translation application, so it does not translate text from one language to another. It is QuarkXPress with added functionality that lets you choose the menu language, apply hyphenation in multiple languages, and check spelling in multiple languages within a single document.
