OPERATION:

The new features have been implemented without losing the basic style of the previous very popular interface, so existing users can up-grade without any worries.

Self Assertion Technology involves a two-step reading process. In the first step most of the text is quickly recognized, leaving only a small group of "difficult characters" for the second step, which are solved using information gathered during the first step.

The ANSI version of the program can handle some 75 languages, either singly or in combination, while the Language Enhancement Package boosts this number to over 100.

Recognition of hand-written numerals, checkboxes or barcodes can be specified for zones on a page. At document level three more recognition types are offered: normal, fax and draft quality 9-pin dot-matrix. The program can also be run in a network environment. That's why Recognita Plus is more than just an OCR - it's a total recognition package.
