LanguageNow! enables users to begin understanding and enjoying articles, stories and conversational material from the first lesson in any of seven languages:

Spanish, French, German, Italian, Latin, Russian and English.

Enhancements to LanguageNow! Version 5.0 include multimedia audio and visual aides, new features to support beginning users, and translations and pronunciations of more than 20,000 words in each of the seven supported languages; twice the total for the previous LanguageNow! version.

Overview of LanguageNow! Version 5.0 Enhancements

• Broadens a user’s exposure to a foreign language by introducing a new instructional element – multimedia- by taking video "tours" of famous foreign cities, as well as view illustrations of common words, phrases and cultural icons.
• For beginners, LanguageNow Version 5.0 offers a new alphabet overview and reference guide that provides an easy starting place for language learning. This new guide introduces the characters of a language’s alphabet and provides native pronunciations of each letter’s name and core sound.
• LanguageNow Version 5.0 also offers a step-by-step guide for getting started with both the LanguageNow! program and a new language, and includes an easy-to-use overview of the program’s main features.
• LanguageNow Version 5.0 includes new speech-slowing feature. It lets users operate a slide bar to slow the native pronunciations by 10 to 50 percent for easier comprehension.
• Transparent Language has developed content for the beginning-level user to go along with the more advanced material that has traditionally been included with the program. Survival Phrases and Most Common Words are illustrated Titles that give the first-time user exposure to basic vocabulary and grammar concepts. In addition, the program includes a more advanced Travel Tour and a cultural story. All Titles include video or illustrations. All words and sentences are pronounced by native speakers
